The idea of a leather case that you leave the Acer Aspire One in it while you use the PC was an interesting one but it is clear it is more difficult to implement that a simpler pouch. The obligation to leave openings for every conceivable device to be connected to the PC weakens considerably the case but that could be OK if the decision not to cover the rear battery pack (probably because it comes in two sizes 3 and 6 elements) leads to an awkward design with two rather flimsy elastic hinges having the huge responsibility to hold the case bottom part with the top part. Even that could be forgiven but what is harder to forgive is the position of the two hinges: right over the two rear rubber feet of the PC. The end result is that the bottom part of the case does not stick to the bottom of the PC. Instead it makes an awkward angle between the case and the PC bottom and does not give the "finished" look one expects from this type of case. The case is usable but we are used now to better designs and I tend to leave this case in a drawer most of the time.
